Key Biscayne Lighthouse Run

Experience the thrill of the 46th Annual Key Biscayne Lighthouse 10K/5K Run in the picturesque tropical setting of Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, near the historic Cape Florida Lighthouse. This exciting event will take you through the scenic State Park and the charming Village of Key Biscayne, making it a truly unique race.

Enjoy free entrance to the state park, and along the course, you’ll find conveniently placed water stations and clear race mile markers to keep you on track and hydrated throughout the run.

The fun continues after you cross the finish line! We’ve prepared a post-race celebration with various amenities for all participants. Treat yourself to delicious food and refreshing beverages (including adult options) while immersing yourself in the energizing music pulsating from the stage. Plus, all runners can unwind with well-deserved post-race massages.

Don’t forget to grab your race packet in advance to make your race day even smoother. Registration is only offered online. If you register by Friday, November 10th, your race number and t-shirt will await you at the Key Biscayne Community Center, located at 10 Village Green Way, Key Biscayne, FL 33149. Swing by anytime from Monday, November 6th to Friday, November 10th, between 10 AM to 6 PM.

We’ve also got latecomers and those who couldn’t make it to the packet pickup covered. Starting at 6:15 am on the morning of the race, all other race packets, including those not collected at the Key Biscayne Community Center, will be available so that you won’t miss out on the race day excitement.

Online registration only. Registration closes at 6 pm on Friday, November 10, 2023.

The Key Biscayne Community Center will have tablets available for in-person online registration from Monday, November 6th, through Friday, November 10th, from 10 AM to 6 PM.

  1. Race packets (containing your race number and t-shirts) for all online registrations received ON or BEFORE Friday, November 10th, will be available at Key Biscayne Community Center, 10 Village Green Way, Key Biscayne, FL 33149 from Monday, November 6th to Friday, November 10th from 10 AM to 6 PM.

  2. Packet pickup at the Key Biscayne Community Center closes at 6 pm on Friday, November 10th.

  3. All other race packets (including ones not picked up at Key Biscayne Community Center) will be available starting at 6:15 am on the morning of the race.

Take I-95 South or US1 North to the Rickenbacker Causeway toll booth entrance ($2.25 fee). Drive 7 miles until you can see the Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park lighthouse.

The entrance to Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park will be open at 6:15am and CLOSED at 7:15am.

Park entrance fee is waived for this event and you are invited to enjoy the park for the remainder of the day.

REMEMBER – PARK ENTRANCE CLOSES AT 7:15AM. 

Parking attendants will be on site to direct you to the available parking spaces

Awards (Plaques and Gift Certificates) to be presented to the top Male/Female Open/Key Biscayne finishers for both events. These winners will be excluded from their age group for additional awards.

The top 3 open and top KB finisher in each age group will also receive a medal.

All finisher’s will receive a KBLHR Finisher’s Medal.

The 10K is NOT a walk. Runners must complete the race within 1:20 minutes. Walkers may walk the 5K but will not be judged. No special awards will be given for walkers unless they place within their age groups.
